Blaž will join Jan Lim as a discussant at the Transdisciplinary Action Research Seminar. The seminar is organised by the Department of Architecture at the KU Leuven and will take place on Thursday, March 14th from 9:30 to 12:30. 

Jan is a doctoral researcher at the KU Leuven. In her lecture ‘Participation in the face of power: Notes from the field in Singapore’, she will share her experiences as co-founder of Participate in Design, a non-profit participatory design and planning organisation that has served as an intermediary between the government and communities in Singapore.

Andrés Walliser Martínez will also join as a discussant.

The seminar provides an opportunity to learn about and discuss neighbourhood collective action and social innovation in Singapore and the role of intermediary organisations in building resilient communities and cities, which also matches with the research focus of CASIE.
